Course Description:
This course is designed to educate employees working near electrical equipment about the dangers of arc flash, teaching them how to recognize potential hazards, the importance of proper protective equipment (PPE), and follow safe work practices.

  • Arc flash, arc blast and electric arc
  • NFPA 70E
  • Electrically safe work conditions
  • Flash protection boundary and limits of approach
  • The correct PPE to wear
  • How to reduce arc flash hazards
