Course Description: This course is designed for individuals working at height and offers an awareness of the issues involved with fall protection. This course focuses on the theory of fall protection and the need to protect workers at height. Participants are introduced to the legislation governing fall protection as well as the components of a fall protection system including holding devices, anchorages, connectors and rescue. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will receive a certificate acknowledging they have met or exceeded OSHA, ANSI and CSA requirements as an Authorized Person.
