Course Description: This instructor-led, one-day training equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to identify and address hazards in warehouse and distribution environments. Designed for small employers, staffing agencies, temporary workers, and frontline supervisors, the course focuses on real-world applications of hazard recognition to prevent injuries, reduce risk, and improve workplace safety.
Through interactive discussions, case studies, and hands-on exercises, participants will explore common warehouse operations, identify hazards across key work areas, and apply the hierarchy of controls to mitigate risk. The course aligns with OSHA’s National Emphasis Program (NEP) on Warehousing and Distribution Center Operations and emphasizes proactive, prevention-focused safety practices.
