The Great Lakes Safety Training Center is not an OTI Education Center, but serves as a host training organization for the Great Lakes OSHA Training Institute Education Center at Eastern Michigan University.

Course Description: This course covers OSHA Standards, policies, and procedures in general industry. Topics include scope and application of the OSHA General Industry Standards, general industry principles and special emphasis on those areas in general industry which are most hazardous.

Course Materials and Required Software Applications: Participants will need to attend the course from either a home or office on a computer or laptop equipped with a Webcam and Microphone. Participants will need to have a stable Internet connection, and use either Chrome, Firefox or Safari as their browser for compatibility with Canvas.
