Course Description:
The Confined Space Rescue course is vital to anyone working in or around confined areas where:

• The space is large enough and so configured that an employee can
  enter and perform assigned work
• The space is not designed for continuous human occupancy
• The space has limited openings for entry/egress
• Rescue procedures would be applicable

What will you learn in this training?

• To safely and confidently understand and evaluate the hazards and procedures associated with confined spaces
• How to differentiate between a Permit-Required confined space and a Non-Permit-Required confined space
• The hazards associated with confined spaces and outline duties of all members of a confined space entry team, emergency procedures and plan development
• The need for appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and selection characteristics for each level of protection
• The different types of direct-reading instruments, including their mode of operation and limitations
• Hands-on experience in the Confined Space Simulator
